Visions and Dreams: The Work of Roger Rice
September/October 2019 in the Visual Arts Gallery
Considered “outsider art,” Rice’s work teems with Biblical scripture and visions laced with imagery and juxtapositions of images of prophecy and science fiction. Although he has an MFA from the University of Mississippi, he retains the naiveté from his years as a self taught artist.
