Join Chef Robin Pate in Becky’s Kitchen for this fun-filled HIBACHI experience! Learn the coveted secrets to Japanese Cuisine right here at The Mary C.! This is a Hands-On class for adults that will teach you the skills and techniques to authentic Japanese cooking – cost includes beer/wine with dinner.

There is nothing more fun than playing chef in the kitchen with your kids. In this duo class, you will learn together how to make homemade marshmallows and cut them out into the beloved ‘peep’ shapes that we all recognize. Dipped in colorful sugar, these peeps will be the marshmallows that everyone will remember this Easter!

Come and take a culinary journey through the history of Japanese sushi with Michael Paoletti of Food, Booze & Hiccups. Learn the proper methods of sushi rice making, as well as the significance of the ingredients used by the Japanese in sushi making. Let Michael guide you through the basics of rolling sushi, while your create your own types of rolls filled with your favorite ingredients.

Spring Break ‘All About The Sandwich’ – KIDS ONE WEEK Culinary Camp (AM) Americans consume more than 300 million sandwiches a day! Sandwiches are a staple in every household around the country because of its portability and ability to be different each and every time. One of the first things that kids learn to make by themselves is a sandwich. In this Hands-On week-long Spring Break Sandwich Class, your kids (ages 7-14) will learn about the history of the most popular American sandwiches while also creating the components for each sandwich including homemade mustard, mayonnaise and olive salad. Each sandwich will be accompanied by a homemade side such as potato salad, onion rings and chips.

  • Day 1: America- Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup
  • Day 2: Louisiana- Muffuletta with Chips
  • Day 3: Nebraska- Reuben with Onion Rings
  • Day 4: Florida- Cuban with Black Beans
  • Day 5: Maine/Mississippi- Shrimp Roll with Potato Salad

On Friday, kids are allowed to invite up to 2 guests to come and enjoy their fruits of labor with them and to show off their culinary & serving skills they’ve learned throughout the week! Between Little Debbie, Hostess, and Nabisco, we have all been raised on the most delicious snacks this country can offer. All of these snacks though can be made at home, and for a fraction of the price! In this class, kids ages 7-14 will learn how to make the best snacks on the market without preservatives and additives that can be easily replicated at home.

  • Day 1: Oatmeal Cream Pie
  • Day 2: Moon Pie
  • Day 3: Twinkie
  • Day 4: Swiss Roll
  • Day 5: Star Crunch
