Faerie of Creativity - A Beautiful Keepsake Ornament

The Mary C.'s Faerie of CreativityThis wonderful, magical Faerie of Creativity was designed by Gautier artist Roberta Little at the request of The Friends of Mary C. O’Keefe.  Roberta was inspired by puppets reminiscent of the 16th century.  This fully poseable Faerie is made from reproductions of the premier 2003 Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center Calendar.  Volunteers have lovingly cut, assembled and brought life to these Faeries.  Inspired by the recent completion of the Performing Arts Theatre and in celebration of the performing arts, the Faerie of Creativity is dressed as a dancer.  Sparking a fond remembrance of the September 5, 2003 Grand Opening ribbon cutting, the purple tulle skirting on each Faerie is fashioned from decoration used at the ceremony.
