Creative Writing Workshop
In this workshop, we will write, write, write; and listen and edit and revise. Beginners are welcome. Every time we start something new, we all feel like beginners, don't we?
"Step forward with your life. Look around you. There's no one there. No one cares that much whether you write or not. You just have to do it," suggests Natalie Goldberg in Wild Mind.
(When you write) "You have the respect of your own neighborhood. the corner grocer never asked for more," reflects Walker rumble.
Whatever your reason for writing, I hope you find yourself hanging around after class asking yourself, " What just happened?" Eckhart Tolle could not suggest a better way to stay in the present.
Bring to class a spiral notebook and a pen. Also bring along a copy of Writing Alone and with Others by Pat Schneider.
