This exciting workshop is a continuation of our recent Gold Scout Project Transformation Theatre. This will be a six week long class resulting in a dramatic production that will help girls ages 11 - 14 identify and cope with issues of self-esteem, fear, and insecurities. Objectives of this class are to: encourage the students to talk openly about aspects of body confidence, challenge female stereotypes, examine how feelings can affect actions, discover how beauty is portrayed by the media, teach positive body image, learn about beauty in other cultures, practice understanding emotions, develop techniques to promote positive self-esteem, build a positive relationship with beauty, and to achieve (explore) the student's full life potential.

Final Show Synopsis: Five young ladies explore the issues of women's rights throughout the last sixty years. Transformation Theatre travels through the 1950's to modern 200's in five different scenes taking the audience on a journey through the issues of the day.
