Chef Cheri, as well as other local celebrity chefs and cooks,

will be leading cooking demonstrations, followed by exciting meals!

Walk ins are welcome, if space is available. Reservations are highly encouraged.

Each day of summer camps, Monday - Friday, our summer camp Junior Chefs will prepare lunch and lead a demonstration for our cafe patrons.

Cooking with Swami Jinendra

Come enjoy an Indian Vegetarian Meal prepared by Swami Jinendra Kothari. You will learn about using fruits and vegetables for protection and to free yourself from diseases. He will show you how to shift your moods by eating mood friendly foods. Seating is limited to 10 people, so sign up soon!

Have your child’s birthday party in the Café at the Mary C. No mess for you, children do the cooking and we do the cleaning.  We have a wide choice of themes and menus. Let us help you plan a party that is a fun and memorable event for your family and friends.

Want to give a special gift of fun times in the Mary C Culinary Arts Café? We sell Gift Certificates! A secured spot in the Café classes make wonderful birthday, anniversary and Christmas gifts.

Class Return and Exchange Policy: If you are unable to attend a class, we will issue a full refund if you notify us a minimum of one week before the class. If the notification of withdrawal is given after this time but at least 48 hours prior to the class date, we will issue a class credit to be applied to future classes. Refunds will be processed and mailed within 30 days of cancellation. Less than 48 hours prior to the class date, refunds will not be given. Exceptions to this policy may be granted on a case by case basis or in cases of documented family or medical emergency. Call 228-818-2878 if you are unable to attend a class.

Class Locations: All Cafe classes are taught in the Mary C Culinary Arts Cafe located in The Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center (unless otherwise noted in the class description), 1600 Government Street, Ocean Springs, MS.

Class Information: The Mary C. O’Keefe reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes up to the day of the class. We understand that short notice cancellations are inconvenient as such will only occur in extreme cases. In the event a class is cancelled, all students will be notified and full refunds will be given. Refunds will be processed and mailed within 30 days of cancellation The Mary C. O’Keefe reserves the right to substitute ingredients and menu items. All classes include menu recipes and the opportunity to eat what we cook in our class. We ask that all students wear closed-toe shoes in all hands-on classes. Please be prompt as our classes cover several recipes and cooking techniques and we want time to eat what we cook. We ask that cell phones be silenced during the class in respect for our chefs, instructors and class participants.
